The Advertising Trust Operations (ATO) team at Amazon is focused on ensuring a seamless and trustworthy advertising experience for customers by moderating ads to comply with Amazon's advertising guidelines. As part of the ATO team, you will be responsible for safeguarding the shopper experience by moderating text, images, audio, and video content from advertisements. Your work will contribute to building the world's most reliable and customer-centric advertising products.

Key Job Responsibilities

As a Content Reviewer, you will play an integral role in maintaining the quality and trustworthiness of Amazon's advertising ecosystem. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Moderating Content: Review and moderate advertisements from Amazon's Dynamic Advertising programs, which can include text, images, videos, product descriptions, and audio.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Identify and flag content that violates Amazon's advertising policies, including offensive, political, or inappropriate content such as sexual or explicit material.
  • Adherence to Guidelines: Use Amazon's policy guidelines to make decisions regarding the approval or rejection of ad content.
  • Monitoring for Sensitivity: Stay updated on global news trends and significant events to ensure ads remain relevant and sensitive to current events.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Review and incorporate customer feedback into content moderation decisions. Identify and recommend process improvements.
  • Productivity and Precision: Consistently meet operational metrics related to productivity, accuracy, and decision-making speed.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in any discipline is required.
  • Fluency in English: Must speak, write, and read fluently in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Flexible Work Schedule: Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Online Advertising: Previous experience in online advertising or content moderation would be a plus.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Knowledge of advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ability to handle sensitive content appropriately, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of content moderation.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear decisions and insights.
