Key Responsibilities
  • Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written format with accuracy.
  • Proofread and edit transcriptions to ensure proper grammar, spelling, and context.
  • Follow specific formatting guidelines as provided by the client or company.
  • Handle a variety of transcription projects, including interviews, meetings, lectures, and legal or medical recordings.
  • Meet established deadlines for transcription tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to address questions or clarifications regarding audio files.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong listening and comprehension skills in English.
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation abilities.
  • Proficiency in using transcription software and tools (e.g., Express Scribe, Otter.ai).
  • Familiarity with a variety of accents and audio quality levels.
  • High typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 words per minute preferred).

Experience
