Operate and monitor air traffic control systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient air traffic operations at O'Hare International Airport. Communicate clearly and effectively with air traffic controllers, pilots, and other aviation personnel to facilitate the flow of air traffic. Monitor and analyze radar and other surveillance data to identify potential conflicts and take appropriate action to prevent them. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and secure air traffic control environment. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all air traffic activities and incidents. Continuously assess and evaluate air traffic situations to make informed decisions and take appropriate actions. Act as a liaison between air traffic controllers and pilots during emergency situations. Stay up-to-date with all relevant regulations and procedures related to air traffic control. Troubleshoot and report any technical issues with air traffic control equipment. Collaborate with other team members and assist with training and onboarding of new Remote Pilot Operators. Flexibility to work in rotating shifts and adapt to changing work schedules as needed. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
