The Asset Manager will play a vital role in managing leased or owned fulfillment locations, ensuring lease compliance, and fostering relationships with landlords.


Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between Amazon and landlord
  • Manage lease compliance, holding all stakeholders accountable to contract terms
  • Remove Real Estate barriers that impact operations and customer experience
  • Collaborate with other Amazon departments on network-wide Real Estate challenges
  • Lead resolution of Real Estate related escalations

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Real Estate, or another related field
  • 3+ years of property management, asset management, portfolio management and/or real estate financial analysis experience
  • Ability to review tenant alteration requests and secure landlord consent when required
  • Experience executing real estate actions outlined within commercial real estate leases to maintain compliance that include, but are not limited to: maintenance and repair obligations, surrender, and restoration
  • Experience utilizing commercial real estate software platforms such as Tango, Yardi, MRI or others
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Work independently while maintaining all deadlines and critical date obligation
  • RPA (Real Property Administrator), CPM (Certified Property Manager), or comparable professional designation
  • Proven track record to analyze/interpret complex leases and educate stakeholders of lease compliance responsibilities
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings related to industrial type buildings
  • Familiarity and understanding of base building systems
  • A demonstrated ability to work in a high stress, fast-paced environment that includes management of high-volume of email and other communication platforms
  • Effective and clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface with individuals at all levels of an organization
