About the position

As a tertiary-focused Packaging Developer at Twelve, you will be at the forefront of bringing innovative ideas to life, with a primary focus on influencer-driven categories within the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle sectors. You will guide products from concept to completion, collaborating closely with creative teams and renowned clients to ensure every detail aligns with brand vision and market trends. This role requires strategic problem-solving, exceptional project management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, globally connected environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key liaison between creative teams and factory partners, ensuring seamless development of product designs and packaging concepts.
  • Gain a deep understanding of each client’s story, brand guidelines, and market positioning to deliver consistent, high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with creative teams daily to integrate newly sourced products and innovative fabrication processes into client deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver clear, detailed instructions for tertiary packaging decks/mockups in collaboration with design partners.
  • Ideate and create spec sheets for diverse product categories, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Leverage expertise in materials, finishes, and print techniques to enhance product designs.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing budgets, timelines, and quality across various seasons and clients.
  • Create and maintain detailed program schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Exhibit sound judgment to balance competing priorities, adapt to evolving needs, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Negotiate pricing and program details with domestic and overseas factory partners for multi-SKU programs.
  • Ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality or brand alignment.
  • Employ a solution-oriented mindset to address challenges proactively, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Apply creativity and critical thinking to innovate within budgetary constraints.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in secondary or tertiary packaging development, with a focus on beauty, wellness, or lifestyle products preferred.
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end product development, from ideation to delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and print techniques.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple timelines and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Experience with domestic and overseas sourcing and manufacturing.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for driving large-scale, high-impact programs.
  • Availability to work after hours or across time zones as needed.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
