About this role:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Merchant Services Sales Consultant to join our Merchant Services Relationship Banking Sales Team within Consumer Lending. In this highly visible role, you will help business clients adopt innovative payment processing and merchant technology solutions. You'll partner closely with Retail Banking teams, build new business opportunities, and cultivate strong client relationships.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver customized payment processing and merchant technology solutions to small- and medium-sized business clients.
  • Partner with Retail Banking teams to drive referrals, support sales activities, and expand business relationships.
  • Proactively prospect, identify, and develop new business opportunities within your territory.
  • Assess client needs and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
  • Navigate policies, procedures, and compliance standards while exercising sound judgment.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless and positive client experience.
  • Build lasting relationships through effective communication, presentations, and follow-up.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Merchant Services Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in banking or financial services.
  • Business-to-business (B2B) sales background.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong prospecting, influence, and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident presentation skills with diverse client and stakeholder groups.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, structured environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, including proficiency with CRM systems.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 30% within your assigned territory.
  • Must reside in or near the defined market area of Fort Lauderdale and Orlando Florida.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work from a home office.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
