Strategy Office (GSO) provides leadership and support in strategy, foresight,
development and management efforts across the World Bank Group. It promotes the
alignment, quality and coherence between the World Bank Group’s individual
strategies. The GSO is led by the Director whose primary responsibility is supporting the
Senior Leadership and their teams to deliver on the WBG mission. • Lead and be accountable for the performance of the GSO multi-functional team, including staff management, work program delivery, resource planning, and budget stewardship, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and delivery timelines.
