LAX Airport Commercial Shuttle Driver
**The Details**
Competitive Pay: $22.50-$30.15/hr (depending on benefit package)
Retention Bonus: A $2,250 bonus for one year of service is paid only on October 29th. Employees must have one year of seniority by that date. For LAXit employees.
Location: LAXIT Parking lot, LAX terminals, or green line station, LOT E, ADA Assistance, Inter-Terminal Connections.
Hours: FT, multiple shifts available

Commercial Driver Requirements
- Valid CDL: Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License
- Endorsements: Airbrakes and Passenger Endorsement required
- Medical Certification: Current DOT Medical Certificate
- Driving Experience:
- Minimum 2 years with a regular Class C license
- At least 6 months of recent Passenger Commercial Vehicle or Transit Driving experience
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older
- DMV Record: K-4 DMV printout issued within the last 30 days
- Availability: Must have open availability (flexible schedule)

Spirit of the Position:
LAZ CDL Driver is responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.
Principle Job Duties:
- Safely operating company vehicles.
- G.E.T. 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
- Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers, if applicable.
- Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
- Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.
Requirements:
- 2 or more years with a CDL license.
- Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License with proper endorsement(s).
- Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs
- Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift.
- Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)
