<p>Epic Property Management is a growing company focused on improving property performance, tenant experience, and scalable operations across residential portfolios. As we expand, we’re looking to enhance the design and functionality of our units to increase rental appeal and consistency across properties.</p><br><br><p>We are seeking a practical and detail-oriented <strong>Interior Design / Space Planning Specialist</strong> to support renovation planning and unit upgrades across our portfolio.</p><br><br><p>This role focuses on <strong>functional, cost-effective design solutions</strong> that improve layout efficiency, visual appeal, and overall tenant experience—while staying aligned with budget and operational needs.</p><br><br><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><br><br><ul><li>Develop layout and space planning solutions for apartments, multifamily units, and single-family homes</li><li>Recommend finishes, materials, and design upgrades (flooring, paint, fixtures, kitchens, bathrooms)</li><li>Create simple design packages for repeatable upgrades across multiple units</li><li>Produce mood boards, layouts, and basic 2D/3D visualizations to support decision-making</li><li>Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure designs are practical and executable</li><li>Support standardization of design across properties to maintain consistency and efficiency</li><li>Balance design quality with cost-effectiveness and operational feasibility</li></ul><br><br><h2>Qualifications</h2><br><br><ul><li>2–5 years of experience in interior design, space planning, or residential design</li><li>Strong understanding of layout optimization and functional design</li><li>Experience with tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Canva, or similar</li><li>Ability to create clear, practical, and budget-conscious design solutions</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to work independently in a remote environment</li></ul><br><br><h2>Preferred (Not Required)</h2><br><br><ul><li>Experience with multifamily or rental property design</li><li>Familiarity with renovation or value-add property projects</li><li>Understanding of materials sourcing and cost considerations</li></ul><br><br><h2>Compensation</h2><br><br><ul><li>Performance-based incentives</li><li>Fully remote U.S.-based role</li><li>Opportunity to grow with a scaling property management company</li></ul><br><br><p>Epic Property Management is an equal opportunity employer committed to building efficient, scalable, and high-quality property operations.</p><br><br><p> </p>
