Human Resources Intern (Remote)

Hulu is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our dynamic HR team remotely. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, onboarding, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about human resources, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to a fast-paced entertainment and streaming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
  • Support onboarding activities by preparing new hire documentation and assisting with orientation sessions.
  • Help maintain and update HR databases and employee records to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and wellness programs.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and present findings to the team.
  • Provide administrative support, including drafting emails, scheduling meetings, and preparing HR-related reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while handling confidential employee information.
  • Participate in HR projects, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, training programs, and performance management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • A proactive and eager-to-learn mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

  • Previous internship or coursework related to human resources is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with HR software or applicant tracking systems (ATS) is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Flexible schedule (10-20 hours per week), with the possibility of adjusting based on academic commitments.
