Warehouse operatives - ongoing work - Award winning recruitment company Siamo Recruitment in partnership with a prestigious local client. We are currently looking for Order Pickers/ Warehouse Operatives to join the team in the busy warehouse in Colchester, CO2. We are offering a market leading opportunity for candidates that want to work within the warehousing environment with the opportunity to progress their careers.
Pay rates:

  • STD £ 13.33p/h
  • After midnight till 5am £15.68 p/h
  • Average working hours a week are 7.5 hours up to 37.5 hours (break unpaid) more hours offered where possible.
  • Shifts are AM |2pm-10pm| or PM |10pm-6pm|

The Role
  • Successful candidates will start on our comprehensive 1-day 4 hour induction and training program
  • Picking products uses a voice headset that gives clear instructions of what you need to do, foot picking.
  • Stacking the picked items carefully into the cage ready to send to the stores.
  • Lifting items with a range of weights and sizes, some heavy lifting required.
  • Ensuring that working areas are always clean and tidy.
  • Adhere to the health & safety rules at site.
  • Previous order picking experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Flexible workers required weekend working involved.
Who are we looking for?
  • Colleagues who can follow the shifts advertised above, they MUST be flexible to work 6pm till 1am shift up to any 5 days of the week.
  • Colleagues preferably with warehouse experience (or similar) but not essential as full training given.
  • Colleagues with great “can do” attitude.
