Prior caregiving experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate! CPR and First Aid certification (we can assist you in obtaining these if needed). A compassionate and patient heart with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers (lifting up to 50 lbs). Provide medication reminders and administer medication (as directed by a physician’s order). Plan, prepare, and assist with nutritious meals to ensure proper dietary needs are met. Maintain a clean and comfortable living environment through light housekeeping tasks like laundry, dusting, and vacuuming. Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities that spark joy and maintain cognitive function. Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed, providing safe transportation and support. Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition, behavior, or environment to the care team.
