<p>The <b>Assistant Brand Manager, Calendar & Pipeline Planning</b> plays a critical role in supporting the development, coordination, and execution of Denny’s annual marketing calendar and innovation pipeline. This role helps ensure that every campaign, limited-time offer (LTO), and product launch is delivered on time, on strategy, and with operational excellence.</p><p></p><p>Working closely with the Brand Manager and cross-functional teams across Marketing, Culinary, Operations, and Analytics, this role provides day-to-day project management, performance tracking, and communication support to bring Denny’s marketing initiatives to life.</p><p></p><p>The ideal candidate is a <b>detail-driven, proactive, and collaborative marketer</b> who loves both the creative and analytical sides of brand building — and wants to grow their career within a fast-paced, insight-led restaurant marketing team.</p><div></div><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Calendar & Pipeline management</b></p><ul><li>Support the Brand Manager in maintaining the <b>national marketing calendar</b>, tracking all key milestones and deliverables for LTOs, new product introductions, and brand campaigns.</li><li>Help coordinate <b>go-to-market timelines</b> across internal teams, ensuring creative assets, operations tools, and field communications are delivered on schedule.</li><li>Assist in documenting and updating the innovation pipeline, including tracking product concepts through testing, approval, and commercialization stages.</li><li>Partner with teams across Brand Marketing, Culinary, Creative, Operations, and Field Marketing to ensure alignment on launch readiness and executional details.</li><li>Support the collection, organization, and distribution of campaign briefs, creative assets, and promotional toolkits.</li><li>Communicate updates to stakeholders through weekly status reports, meeting recaps, and shared dashboards.</li><li>Assist in tracking performance metrics for promotions and LTOs (traffic, sales mix, ROI), summarizing key learnings for the team.</li><li>Conduct light competitive analysis and market research to inform future calendar and pipeline recommendations.</li><li>Support post-promotion reviews and help compile learnings into easy-to-digest summaries for leadership and franchisees.</li><li>Help prepare presentation materials for cross-functional and franchisee meetings.</li><li>Maintain organized documentation for calendar plans, meeting notes, and campaign updates.</li><li>Contribute ideas to improve process efficiency, collaboration, and visibility across teams.</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>1–3 years of marketing, brand, or project management experience - restaurant, retail, or CPG experience preferred.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.</li><li>Comfortable working cross-functionally and collaborating in a hybrid team environment.</li><li>Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with dashboards or project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, etc.).</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"> </p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>The typical pay range for this role is: </b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Minimum:$71,000.00 - Maximum:$97,900.00<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which the position falls.
